Top 10 CNN Hero Luke Mickelson receives his award

Luke Mickelson quit his high-paying job to build beds for kids who sleep on the floor.

He founded Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit that builds and delivers beds to children in need. Tonight, he received his Top 10 CNN Heroes award and $10,000 toward his nonprofit.

Each of the Top 10 CNN Heroes will get a $10,000 cash prize tonight to help their causes (read more about them here). And the soon-to-be-announced CNN Hero of the Year will receive an additional $100,000 for his or her cause.
