Teddy bear adventures: Sutro the teddy bear (right) was accidentally left behind by his owner at the Grand Hotel Hyatt Kauai. The staff at the hotel found Sutro and decided to photograph him enjoying his extended stay.

Lost then found: Sutro belongs to the son of San Francisco-based Anna Pickard, who was very relieved when the bear -- and his buddy, Kauai, a toy Hawaiian seal -- was found by the laundry team, pictured.

Bear adventures: Housekeeping director Julien Woerpel, pictured left, emailed Anna Pickard and let her know the bears were found. He also sent her some fun photographs of Sutro and Kauai's adventures.

Relaxing by the pool: "Anna was so nice and I fully understand how distraught kids can be when they realize their bear buddy is missing," Woerpel tells CNN Travel.

Luxurious experience: Sutro enjoyed all the hotel's luxuries -- he even got a manicure.

Swanky spot: The Grand Hotel Hyatt Kauai is a swanky spot in Hawaii with plenty of beautiful views, which were enjoyed by Sutro and Kauai.

Fun adventures: Staff across the hotel posed with the stuffed toys. Woerpel says he and the hotel staffs hoped to show Pickard's son "that his bear was just having so much fun on his Kauai vacation that he wanted to stay longer."

Photographic delights: Packard was delighted to receive the photographs of Sutro to show her son and she also shared them on her Twitter feed.

Great experience: "We took him all around the resort where he met staff, helped do landscaping and laundry, got a spa treatment and finally checked out before heading home," says Diann Hartmann, Director of Marketing Communications at the Grand Hyatt.

End of stay: At the end of their stay, before getting on the plane back to their owner, Sutro and Kuaiai even checked out properly.
