The Hutton Hotel: This supercool Nashville hotel is more than just a place to crash. It also has two custom-designed musician suites, aka recording studios, that have already produced one hit single.

In the middle: Country singer Maren Morris teamed up with DJ Zedd to write and record "The Middle" at the Hutton. The single hit the top five on the US charts.

From stage to sofa: Country star Dierks Bentley co-designed one of the recording suites with musicians in mind.

Music notes: Bentley's contributions to the design included a photo of his idol, Johnny Cash, and a jar where performers can leave their guitar picks after recording.

A little bit country: Singer-songwriter Ryan Tedder co-designed the other suite.

A little bit rock and roll: Tedder's room has plenty of natural light, plus low armrests that won't get in the way of spontaneous guitar playing sessions.

Perks included: The studios make it easy to record by providing mics, amps and other gear.

Wet and play your whistle: Fittingly, the Hutton's downstairs cocktail bar is called Analog.

Play me a memory: The bar doubles as an intimate performance space and will be hosting some of the musicians who record at the Hutton.

Copper and steel: The intimate vibe is designed to feel more like a listening room than a formal studio.
