Galaxy's Edge. A large and ambitious new "Star Wars"-themed story land, called Galaxy's Edge, opens this summer at Disneyland in California, and Disney World in Florida in the fall. It takes place on a new planet that most fans will not have heard of before. Warning: This gallery contains spoilers.

Batuu. This attraction takes place within Batuu, an Earth-like planet full of giant ancient petrified tree stumps, located in the uncharted Outer Rim.

The planet's main town. Black Spire Outpost (named after one mysteriously dark tree stump) was once along the main trade route but has now become more a haven for smugglers and traders, reminiscent of Mos Eisley on Tatooine from Episode 4 in the film series.

Millennium Falcon. The most selfie-d part of Galaxy's Edge will no doubt be with the docked, full-scale, 100-plus foot long, movie-perfect Millennium Falcon that can be viewed at all angles, even from above.

Fun and games. Even a casual Star Wars fan will get all the feels stepping into the famous white Chicklet-paneled corridors of the Falcon and then into the main hold where you can sit at the holographic "Let the Wookie win" Dejarik (aka chess) board.

At the controls. Visitors then step into the most famous cockpit in history, where touching controls is not encouraged, it's required, starting with the jump to lightspeed and then through an interactive ride called Smugglers Run.

Rise of the Resistance. On a separate ride, Rise of the Resistance, visitors join an epic battle between the First Order and the Resistance and will step foot in the massive hanger bay of a Star Destroyer.

Lightsabers to go. Among the specialty shops selling items that can only be bought in the parks is Savi's Workshop, where you can build your own lightsabers from various designs and kyber crystal colors.

Local cuisine. Ronto Roasters will feature savory meats spit-roasted over a former Podracer engine. The food in Galaxy's Edge will be "in universe," so don't expect to find French fries or nachos.

Adult beverages. In Oga's Cantina, alcoholic beverages will be served, including, from left to right: The Outer Rim, Bespin Fizz, Yub Nub rum punch and a Fuzzy Tauntaun.

Fun for the family. Don't expect wanted men or lightsaber limb dissections. Oga's Cantina is an elaborate bar that's also family friendly, serving blue milk and cookies for the kids and playing an '80s-meets-Bollywood playlist spun by DJ R-3X.

Pushing boundaries. When Black Spire Outpost is fully operational, the experience for its visitors promises to grow the ever-expanding Star Wars universe in a new dimension.
