
Artists contacted the US Embassy to offer their dried leaf artwork to Trump but have not yet heard back.

An artist at the Hanoi craft workshop Hatolo cuts into to dried leaves to make portraits of US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in honor of Hanoi summit.

Truong Thanh Duc normally sells about 30 shirts a day out of his shop in Hanoi's old quarter, where he's worked the last 20 years.

This week he's selling 500 a day, almost all of which are emblazoned with President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's faces. The shop has sold more than 3,000 T-shirts.

Tran has produced more than 100 portraits of Trump and Kim, although he's yet to sell any.

The famous Lotus Water Puppet Theater erected portraits of the two leaders, one showing Trump waving in front of the US and Vietnamese flags.

Limited edition coins were sold commemorating the summit.
