  • Zoë Saunders is a Senior Producer for CNN Audio.

    Saunders began her career at CNN in 2020 and helped launch—and now currently oversees production for—the podcasts "Chasing Life" (previously known as "Coronavirus: Fact vs. Fiction") and "Silence Is Not an Option." She has covered the Covid-19 pandemic, American's racial reckoning following the death of George Floyd, and the intersection of pop culture and politics.

    Prior to joining CNN, Saunders produced public radio's weekly arts and culture program, Studio 360, as well as The Story Collider and Kismet podcasts. Her writing has appeared on Slate, StandArt Magazine, and the Irish film site Spool.

    Saunders holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University and a master's degree from University of Oxford, where she studied Chinese archaeology. She still serves on the advisory board for her alma mater's radio station, WPRB.
