  • Tara Mulholland is a social media producer at CNN. She leads the production and publication of CNN's news and features from the Hong Kong bureau, across a range of social platforms. She is also involved with social newsgathering, video editing, planning and training.

    She joined CNN in 2016 as a social producer in London. Previously, she held similar digital and social media roles at Sky News, where she took charge of several social media-led projects relating to elections and special programmes, including the award-winning Stand Up Be Counted youth voter registration initiative.

    She graduated from Oxford University in 2011 with a BA in English Literature, and from City University in 2012 with an MA in television journalism. She was awarded a 2016 MHP 30 to Watch award, and a 2010 Anjool Maldé Prize for Student Journalism.
