Sarah Long is the VP of International Operations & Strategy for CNN Digital. In this role, she is responsible for creating and operationalizing CNN’s digital business and audience growth strategy outside of the US.

Prior to this, Long was CNN Digital’s Senior Director of Emerging Brands, where she was the strategic and operational lead for CNN’s portfolio of operationally-independent digital video-led businesses (including Great Big Story and Explore Parts Unknown with Anthony Bourdain). Before that, Long led CNN Digital’s short- and long-term strategic planning efforts as Director of Business Strategy.

Before joining CNN, Long held strategy and operations consulting roles at The Paley Center for Media, the VH1 Save the Music Foundation and at New York-based tech startup Plum Alley. She also served as Chief of Staff to the President & CEO of Accion, a global microfinance non-profit.

Long holds a BA from the University of Oxford and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
