  • Molly Shiels is a Senior Editorial Producer for CNN Business.

    Shiels works with CNN anchors and correspondents on securing and producing high level interviews with some of the biggest CEOs and names in business. She secures all guests for "Markets Now" -- the flagship streaming show at CNN Business -- and worked with the team that launched CNN Business' largest sponsorship series to date: Risk Takers. Additionally, she helped produce and launch CNN Business' "The Table" (now called "Foreseeable Future") event series in cities across the U.S., and produced CNN Business' "Fresh Money" and "Rebound" series. Shiels also contributed to CNN Digital's James Beard-nominated "Family Meal" series, worked on Brooke Baldwin's "American Woman" series and helped produce CNN's #MyVote campaign during the 2016 election which received an Edward R. Murrow award and Webby for social coverage.

    Before joining CNN Business, Shiels served as a Coordinating Producer at Fox Business and a Producer at Bloomberg Television. Shiels started her career at CNN in Atlanta as a Video Journalist before moving to Washington, D.C. to work as an Associate Producer on "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer" where she was nominated for an Emmy award for CNN's election night coverage.

    Shiels graduated from Fordham University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics and won a Gracie Allen Award for Best Student Reporter while working at Fordham's NPR-affiliated public radio station, WFUV.
