Matt Callaway is Vice President of CNN Digital Business Expansion, overseeing product discovery and business strategy for CNN Digital's premium brands, including CNN Politics and Business, as well as expansion into new ventures.
Prior to joining CNN, Callaway was the CEO of AppTap, a venture-backed mobile advertising and content recommendations company, acquired by Wilaen, Inc. In this role, he established the product vision and business model, secured venture funding, built the founding team, and managed operations.
Callaway was also a director of product management at AOL, where he focused on Winamp, a consumer media player and streaming service. Prior to AOL, he served as director of online marketing and community for Electronic Arts, where he developed data-driven, personalized online marketing programs and consumer products to establish direct relationships with customers, maximizing user lifetime value and retention across EA brands.
Callaway graduated from American University and resides in the DC area with his family.
