Kevin Liptak is a White House reporter for CNN based in Washington. He covers President Trump's foreign and domestic policy, campaign politics and the internal dynamics of the administration.

Liptak has covered the White House for CNN since the start of President Obama's second term in 2013, traveling to nearly every state and more than 40 countries. He reported on President Trump's tumultuous early days in the White House, his summits with the North Korean and Russian leaders and his impeachment proceedings.

Liptak is a graduate of the College of William and Mary in Virginia.
