    • Josh Freedom du Lac is executive editor of the national desk for CNN Digital Worldwide, where he oversees US news coverage and teams across CNN's global digital platforms.

      Before coming to CNN, du Lac was Director of Global Live News at The Washington Post. He was with The Post for over 16 years, serving as a breaking news editor, pop music critic and reporter on the enterprise team. Prior to joining The Post, du Lac was a staff writer at The Sacramento Bee, where he was a finalist for the Livingston Awards for Young Journalists. He has also written for numerous sports and culture magazines, including ESPN, Latina and Vibe.

      He was the founding co-director of J Camp, a multicultural high school journalism program operated through the Asian American Journalists Association. A native of San Francisco, du Lac holds a BA from Whittier College in Business Administration.
