Errol Louis is a political analyst for CNN regularly appearing since 2008. He is the political anchor of NY1 News, and host of "Inside City Hall," a nightly prime-time show that features in-depth reporting and interviews with a wide range of political and cultural leaders.
In addition to his work at NY1, Louis teaches at the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism, where he serves as Director of the Urban Reporting Program. He writes a weekly column for the New York Daily News and has been a CNN contributor since 2008. Louis was named the city's Best Columnist & Radio Show Host by the Village Voice in 2010 and in 2014 was ranked #30 of the city's 100 most powerful people in New York City politics by City and State newspaper. He is co-editor of Deadline Artists, a two-volume anthology of America's greatest newspaper columns.
Louis holds a bachelor's degree in Government from Harvard University, a Master's in Political Science from Yale, and a juris doctorate from Brooklyn Law School.
