  • Cullen Daly is the Executive Producer of CNN Digital Productions. She leads CNN's premium video development and production efforts. Her team produces shows and series built for the next generation of news consumers.

    Daly was previously a Supervising Producer for CNN Digital Labs, an incubator for storytelling and special projects. In that role, she led some of CNN's biggest initiatives during the 2016 election including: the publication of "Unprecedented," CNN's first book; "Like. Share. Elect," an exhibit at the Newseum in Washington, DC and the Election Night projections on the Empire State Building that attracted more than 27 million viewers.

    On top of her innovative contributions to CNN's election coverage, Daly has developed brand extensions for CNN Films and Series including: "This is Birth" and "This is Sex" with Lisa Ling; "Explore Parts Unknown" with Anthony Bourdain and "I'm gettin a vacectomy" with W. Kamau Bell.

    While at CNN, Daly has received an Edward R. Murrow award and a Webby for social coverage of the 2016 election and an Emmy for Anthony Bourdain Explore Parts Unknown.

    Prior to joining CNN, Daly served in production roles at Bloomberg and at ABC News. At Bloomberg she produced documentaries, live events and helped to develop a digital video strategy that lead Bloomberg to its number one ranking in business video. During her time at ABC News, she worked in both field and post production for World News, Good Morning America, This Week, ABC Special Events and Digital Video.

    Daly is a graduate of both Georgetown University and Miami University.
