  • Courtney Coupe is the Vice President of CNN Digital Productions. Coupe is responsible for CNN Digital's premium and innovative content, including CNN Digital Productions, audio and Great Big Story.

    Previously, Coupe was VP of Content Strategy & Operations for Great Big Story, an award-winning media company that develops and produces non-fiction micro-documentaries, series, and films. Established in 2015 through an investment by CNN Worldwide, Great Big Story operates offices in New York City, Los Angeles and London. As one of the company's founding members, Coupe shaped the brand's voice, editorial, and production, to tell evocative, surprising, and true stories from characters you can't believe are real.

    While at Great Big Story, Coupe has received one Emmy win, two additional Emmy nominations, a Cannes Silver Lion, and three Webby awards.

    Before joining Great Big Story, Coupe served as the Executive Producer of Digital Video Development and Production for Bloomberg, overseeing daily digital video development, production and strategy across web, mobile and social. Prior to that, Coupe spent seven years at ABC News, as a producer for ABC News Digital and Good Morning America, covering news events such as the Royal Wedding, the 2008 election and inauguration, Hurricane Katrina, and the death of Pope John Paul II. While at ABC News, Coupe received an Emmy award for Outstanding Live Coverage of a Current News Story for the inauguration of President Barack Obama.

    Coupe is a graduate of Boston College.
