  • Caroline Kenny is a writer and producer for CNN, working with anchor Pamela Brown on CNN Newsroom.

    During the 2020 election cycle, Caroline worked as a video producer for CNN, covering every presidential candidate across South Carolina through the First in the South primary, and also tracking the presidential campaigns of former Texas Rep. Beto O'Rourke and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Later, Kenny covered the vice presidential search, the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, Election Day in numerous swing states and the Georgia Senate runoffs.

    Caroline joined CNN's political team in August 2016 as a digital producer writing stories for CNN.com and producing content for all of CNN's social channels. Later, she worked as a social TV producer for CNN's award-winning social team based in Washington, D.C., where she worked closely with the CNN social team as well as the anchors and production teams of The Lead with Jake Tapper, The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and State of the Union with Jake Tapper to produce, write and create social content. At CNN, she has covered everything from the 2016, 2018 and 2020 elections to breaking news at the White House and on Capitol Hill to the Politicon convention in Los Angeles.

    A New York native, Caroline graduated from the Honors College at the College of Charleston with bachelor's degrees in communication and political science. She received her master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
