  • Caroline Kenny is a video producer covering the 2020 presidential election. Previously, Kenny was a social TV producer for CNN Politics' award-winning social team based in Washington, D.C., where she worked closely with the CNN flagship social team as well as the anchors and production teams of The Lead with Jake Tapper, The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer and State of the Union with Jake Tapper to produce, write and create social content.

    Before that, she as a digital producer for CNN Politics, where she wrote and produced stories for CNN Politics, programmed the CNN Politics web pages and created social content for CNN Politics' social properties. She has covered everything from the 2016, 2018 and 2020 elections to the Politicon convention in Los Angeles.

    Prior to joining CNN, Kenny reported on the 2016 presidential race for Medill News and was published in USA Today, the Associated Press, and local television stations across the country. She also served as the executive producer of the Medill News Service's coverage of the 2016 NFL Draft in Chicago, overseeing a team of reporters and producers.

    A native of Long Island, New York, Kenny graduated from the Honors College at the College of Charleston with bachelor's degrees in communication and political science. She received her master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
