  • Brad Ferrer is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, WarnerMedia News and Sports, a business unit of WarnerMedia. Ferrer, based in Atlanta, was named to this position in April 2019 and is responsible for financial leadership for the business unit and its brands, including CNN U.S., CNN Digital, HLN, CNN International, Bleacher Report, as well as partnerships with the NBA, MLB, and NCAA.

    Our consumers trust our brands to reach them anywhere to report, cover, and share the most compelling news and live sports stories. Ferrer's finance team collaborates with News and Sports leadership to finance and sustain our brands' mission to be essential to their consumers.

    Immediately prior to his current role, and since 2000, Ferrer served as Chief Financial Officer of CNN Worldwide. He joined Turner in 1995, and until he joined CNN, Ferrer held a succession of roles in Turner's corporate finance group. Before joining Turner, Ferrer was a CPA for Price Waterhouse from 1981 to 1995 in the accounting and auditing group. He is a member of the Georgia Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Georgia State University.

    Ferrer serves as a member and past chair of the Georgia State University Foundation Board of Trustees. He also serves as a member of the Board of Advisors of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University as well as a member of the Georgia State University Athletic Association Board of Directors. He previously served as President of the Georgia State University Alumni Association Board of Directors.
