Aileen Graef is a planning editor for CNN Politics, writing coverage plans for the White House, Congress and all other political events covered by the CNN Politics digital team.

After interning at NASA and on Capitol Hill focusing on international relations, Graef moved into journalism as a desk assistant for the PBS NewsHour. Previously, she worked as a web producer and writer for UPI and Sinclair Broadcast.

Graef is a graduate of Florida State University with a degree in International Affairs concentrated in Political Science and Russian.
