Incoming White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain said today on NBC that the Biden - Harris team's top scientific advisors will meet with Pfizer and other drug companies in the upcoming week to discuss a Covid-19 vaccine.
“We're going to have a meeting between our top scientific advisers and the officials of these drug companies, not just Pfizer, but there are other promising vaccines as well. We're going to start those consultations this week,” he said.
Klain cited that the challenge of the vaccine will be the logistics of its administration, saying, “Vaccines don’t save lives, vaccinations save lives. It’s a giant logistical project.”
