Maine President Results

For the first time in its history, Maine split its electoral votes in 2016, three for Clinton and one for Trump. Maine was once a Republican stronghold. It was one of only two states to vote against Franklin Roosevelt in each of his four presidential bids, and prior to the 1990s, it had voted Democratic only three times since the Civil War.
