Jury awards further $45 million in punitive damages in Alex Jones case

The jury in Alex Jones’ defamation trial awards $45 million more in punitive damages to the parents of the Sandy Hook shooting victims. A financial expert testified Jones used shell companies to mask his income, and may have a net worth of as much as $270 million. Trial lawyer Ken Turkel joins to discuss if Jones’ case will set a precedent on accountability and punishment for knowingly spreading harmful disinformation.

Russia says it’s open to a prisoner swap after sentencing NWBA star Brittney Griner to 9-years for drug smuggling.
