Dickey's personality shines in CNN interviews

(CNN) -- Poet and author James Dickey died Sunday, leaving behind a legacy that included the books "Deliverance" and "To the White Sea," as well as several collections of poems, among them "Buckdancer's Choice," winner of the 1966 National Book Award.

Correspondent Larry Woods interviewed Dickey in the late 1980s. Here are audio excerpts of those conversations.
