Gulf Air Airbus A320 Crashes in the Persian Gulf

KYRA PHILLIPS, CNN ANCHOR: This has just been confirmed by CNN: A Gulf Air Airbus A320 flying from Cairo crashed in the Persian Gulf near Bahrain. We just got word this happened today. This information comes from ministry officials. CNN has also confirmed it. We don't know how many passengers were on board or why the aircraft went down.

Once again, a Gulf Air airliner has crashed off of Bahrain. We'll bring you more as we get it.
