This year's Thanksgiving is expected to be the biggest holiday travel season since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Meanwhile, food prices associated with inflation and other factors have made this Thanksgiving one of the most expensive in recent history.
On Thursday, people across the country watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, held every year in New York City.
Then the holiday shopping season officially kicked into gear with Black Friday.

Hundreds of people line up for Black Friday outside the Mall of America in Bloomington. At 5.6 million square feet, it's the nation's largest shopping and entertainment center.
