Tensions between Russia and Ukraine remain at their highest in years, with a Russian military buildup spurring fears that Moscow could soon launch an attack on Ukraine.
The United States says evidence at Ukraine's border shows that Russia is "moving towards an imminent invasion" and is not withdrawing troops, despite Moscow's claims.
Russia on Thursday once again dismissed the notion it was preparing to attack Ukraine as "baseless accusations." It has argued that NATO support for Ukraine — including military training and weapons supplies — constitutes a growing threat on its western flank.
