Looking for more holiday deals? Visit our Guide to Cyber Week to see all the best sales to shop during Cyber Monday.
Let’s say this up front: You’re not going to find a PS5 on sale this Cyber Monday — heck, you’ll be lucky if you’re able to even buy one at all. But that doesn’t mean you won’t find discounts on a bunch of great PS5 games and accessories, some of which will still work on your PS4 to keep you busy while you wait for the next big restock.
Speaking of which, select retailers have had the PS5 in stock in the lead up to Cyber Monday, making today a great time to keep a close eye on that “add to cart” button. So whether you’re looking to build out your PS5 game collection or hoping to finally take Sony’s red-hot console home, here are the best PS5 Black Friday deals we’ve spotted so far.
PS5 console restocks and bundles
Cyber Monday isn’t bringing any PS5 discounts, but it just might be your best chance to actually buy one. Walmart will have the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition in stock at 12pm ET exclusively for Walmart+ members.
Walmart+ is essentially Walmart’s answer to Amazon Prime, getting you free shipping and exclusive offers for $13 a month or $98 a year. If you’re especially set on having the best chance at getting a PS5 today, our advice would be to sign up for a month and cancel afterwards.
GameStop has a new $724 PS5 Digital Edition bundle for Cyber Monday, which gets you the discless console as well as an extra DualSense controller, a charging station, 12 months of PlayStation Plus, a $100 PlayStation Store gift card and a $100 GameStop gift card. This bundle is already showing as sold out, but we recommend refreshing it throughout the day in the event stock comes back.
We also recommend keeping an eye on other top retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy and Target throughout the week for a chance to score a console. Below are handy links to each store’s PS5 page — be sure to bookmark them and have your payment info set up ahead of time for the best chance.

The brand-new Call of Duty game is already discounted for Black Friday, with the PS4 version starting at $46 and the PS5 edition going for $54. Either way, this is a pretty solid discount on a just-released shooter that has plenty of content to keep you busy over the holidays.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart ($49.99, originally $69.99; bestbuy.com)
Considered by many to be the PS5’s top game so far, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart is a beautiful 3D platformer that taps into the PS5’s advanced SSD to let you warp between worlds in an instant. It’s both a great technical showpiece and an excellent action game, and is an easy choice at this price.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy ($29.99, originally $59.99; bestbuy.com)
The new Guardians of the Galaxy game is an action-adventure romp that’s just as charismatic — and cinematic — as the recent films. It was one of our most anticipated games from E3 2021, and it’s already at a steep discount just weeks after launch.
Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut ($49.94, originally $69.99; gamestop.com)
Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best PlayStation games in years, with satisfying sword and stealth combat, a compelling story and a beautiful island of Tsushima that you can explore freely. This PS5-optimized Director’s Cut includes a brand-new expansion story to play through as well as exclusive items and features, making this already great game an even sweeter value.
Mass Effect Legendary Edition ($24.99; gamestop.com)
Mass Effect Legendary Edition gets you the entire Mass Effect trilogy in a single remastered package, letting you play through an epic three-game sci-fi saga in which your choices have consequences — and carry over between titles. The fact that you can get all of that for $25 right now is pretty bonkers, so if you missed the Mass Effect train or are just aching for a replay, don’t miss this one.
Resident Evil Village ($19.99, originally $49.99; gamestop.com)
Resident Evil Village is one of the absolute best games of 2021, blending the visceral first-person horror thrills of Resident Evil 7 with the open gothic environments and huge action set-pieces of Resident Evil 4. It’s a must-play for newcomers and old fans alike, especially for just $20.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla ($19.99, originally $59.99; amazon.com)
The latest Assassin’s Creed game is one of the biggest and most expansive entries yet, setting you loose in a massive and beautiful Viking-age open world where you can do cool stuff with axes. It’s the kind of game you can easily sink 100-plus hours into, making it a great value at this price.
Demon’s Souls ($39.99, originally $69.99; bestbuy.com)
If you’re up for a challenge, Demon’s Souls is exactly what you’re looking for. This stunning and unforgiving action game remakes the 2009 original specifically for the PS5, with beautiful graphics, satisfying controller haptics and a breathtaking world that’ll make pushing through those difficult bosses worth it.
Madden NFL 22 ($44.99, originally $69.99; amazon.com)
If you’re looking for your football fix, the latest Madden game is available at a pretty solid discount. On top of looking more eerily true to life than ever, Madden NFL 22 evolves the pigskin action with a deeper franchise mode and new X-Factor abilities that make top NFL stars feel even more unique to play as.
Far Cry 6 ($39.99, originally $59.99; amazon.com)
Far Cry 6 is the latest installment in Ubisoft’s popular open-world shooter series, this time tasking you with liberating the city of Yara using guns, vehicles and even a few dog companions. Oh, and Giancarlo Esposito is the bad guy. Note that if you’re still on PS4 and buy the previous-gen version, you’ll be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free.
Marvel’s Avengers ($14.99, originally $39.99; amazon.com)
We really enjoyed the cinematic superhero action of Marvel’s Avengers, and while it has its flaws, the game is a no-brainer at this price. Better yet, it’s constantly getting better with free updates and expansions — including the arrival of Spider-Man exclusively for PlayStation players this fall. Note that the PS4 version is currently cheaper and can be upgraded to the PS5 version for free, so that’s the one we recommend going with.
Outriders ($19.93, originally $39.99; amazon.com)
Outriders is basically a hybrid of Destiny and Gears of War, combining tight cover-based third-person shooting with a whole bunch of cool powers and lots of ways to build up and customize your character. This is just about the cheapest price we’ve seen it at, making it a good pickup if you just want a fun online shooter you can hop on with some friends.
Best PS5 accessory deals
Nyko Charge Arc for PlayStation 5 ($12.22, originally $24.99; amazon.com)
If you’ve managed to get your hands on a PS5, you’re going to want to keep those DualSense controllers charged for your marathon Spider-Man adventures or heated multiplayer Madden matches. KontrolFreek Performance Thumbsticks ($16.99, originally $21.99; amazon.com)
KontrolFreek’s ThumbSticks add some extra grip to your PS4 or PS5 controller’s thumbsticks, which is ideal for competitive gamers or simply anyone who wants to keep their thumbs extra comfy during marathon play sessions.

The Razer Kraken X is our favorite budget gaming headset, thanks to its excellent sound, comfort and mic quality for the money, and it’s even more of a steal at this sale price.
HyperX Cloud Alpha S ($79.99; originally $129.99; amazon.com)
Our pick for the best wired gaming headset, the HyperX Cloud Alpha is one of the most comfortable and best-sounding models we’ve tested. It also has excellent in-line controls for adjusting your game and chat audio on the fly, and works well with just about any platform, thanks to both USB and 3.5mm connections.
WD 1TB My Passport Portable External Hard Drive ($44.97, originally $59.99; amazon.com)
This external hard drive will let you store up to 1TB worth of digital games, which is pretty handy considering how fast the PS5’s internal storage can fill up. Just note that while this drive can store both PS4 and PS5 titles, the latter will have to be transferred to your console storage in order to run. But having a way to offload all of your PS4 games to a separate drive will free up your PS5’s storage for all the new stuff, which is perfect for folks who like to download most of their games digitally.
WD Black 500GB Internal SSD ($147, originally $199; amazon.com)
If you want to expand your PS5’s internal storage, a drive like this WD Black model is the way to go. This internal SSD will add 500GB of extra space to your console, which will definitely come in handy with modern games taking up anywhere from 50GB to 100GB per download. You’ll have to do some handiwork and open up your PS5 to attach this drive, but we think expanding your PS5’s internal storage is worth the investment — especially when you can snag a top-rated drive like this one on sale.
