The Jabra Elite Active 75t earbuds are so good that they got me to ditch my AirPods Pro. And now they just dropped to a ridiculously low $99. That shouldn’t be legal, but it is — and I highly recommend getting them if you want an excellent AirPods alternative at an amazing price.
Jabra’s popular workout earbuds are already a great value at their $179 retail price, undercutting rivals like the AirPods Pro and Beats Fit Pro while offering some features that some competitors can’t match. But at $99, they’re pretty much a must-buy for anyone who wants a high-quality pair of earbuds that work well with both iOS or Android.
The Jabra Elite Active 75t are our favorite workout earbuds and a great AirPods Pro alternative, especially at this low price.
I first tried out the Elite Active 75ts earlier this year, and they quickly replaced my beloved AirPods Pro for a number of reasons. For starters, they’re super comfortable with multiple silicone tips to choose from, and unlike Apple’s buds, come in a number of attractive color options including navy blue and mint green. I especially love the 75t’s physical controls, which are more satisfying and accurate than the overly sensitive touch-based controls I’ve used on Samsung’s and Google’s latest earbuds.
Jabra’s earbuds also have many of the same features as more expensive rivals, including active noise cancellation and a HearThrough mode that helps you stay aware of your surroundings. I’ve found the Elite Active 75t’s ANC to be even better at blocking out noisy trains and neighbors than the AirPods Pro and Galaxy Buds Pro, and unlike on Apple’s buds, you can customize the amount of ambient noise that gets in when using HearThrough mode.
The Elite Active 75t also offer great battery life, often lasting through six hours of continuous use on a charge — even with ANC on. And while they sound great out of the box, you can play with an equalizer to customize your music using the Sound+ app for both iOS and Android. They’re our pick for the best workout earbuds for good reason, as they’re IP57 rated to withstand being submerged in water and have a secure fit that never fell out throughout months of heavy use.
It’s worth noting that Jabra has a newer pair of workout buds in the $179 Jabra Elite 7 Active, which feature a sleeker design and a new “ShakeGrip” coating designed to fit even more securely than the previous model. I’ve spent a little time with this new model and dig the new design and feel, but the Elite Active 75ts still have most of the same core features for nearly half the price.
I should also say that I’ve recently moved on to the excellent $199 Beats Fit Pro, which play a bit nicer with my iPhone and combine some of my favorite things about the Jabras and the AirPods Pro. But you’re simply not going to find a better pair of earbuds for $99 than the Jabra Elite Active 75ts, and whether you’re a frequent runner or just want great sound on a budget, I strongly urge you to scoop them up before it’s too late
