CNN —

On Monday, Apple announced a brand-new MacBook Pro with a physical Escape key as well as a Magic Keyboard. Preorders for the revised machine are open now via the official Apple website, but if you’re looking to save a few bucks on Apple’s latest and greatest, there’s a deal already on the market that you won’t want to miss.

Expercom has discounted two variants of the 2020 MacBook Pro, with the base model now priced at $1,234, down from $1,299. For that price, you get a 13.3-inch Retina display, 8GB of memory, 256GB of storage, and an eighth-generation quad-core Intel Core i5 processor. It features both the Touch Bar with Touch ID and physical Escape button with newly redesigned Magic Keyboard.

There’s an additional model on sale at Expercom that includes a 10th-generation quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost powering a 13.3-inch Retina display, 16GB of memory and 512GB of storage. It also includes both Touch Bar and Touch ID. Normally priced at $1,799, it’s on sale right now for $1,709.

Both discounted models are configurable, so if you swap out components while deciding which to purchase, be advised that the price may change. They also use Apple’s updated keyboard technology, which should do away with the issues users previously complained of, like dead keys or double letters. Plus, the Escape key is now separate from the Touch Bar, meaning if there are mechanical issues with that bar, you don’t have to sacrifice an important key. Exoercom says they’ll ship in one to two weeks.

You can also save at Expercom on a variety of 2019 MacBook Pro models, which are considerably more affordable in their preconfigured status. These discounted models do use Apple’s old keyboard setup, but with the keyboard service program the manufacturer offers, there’s no real reason to pass up the savings.

Save on a 2019 model discounted by Expercom that includes an eighth-generation quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost powering a 13.3-inch Retina display, 8GB of memory and 128GB of storage. Both Touch Bar and Touch ID are included. Normally priced at $1,299, it’s on sale for $1,149. You can choose between silver and space gray models.
