Apple’s iPad mini is the smallest tablet in its lineup, and it’s perfect for reading a book, catching up on email, or streaming your favorite Netflix series. With a 7.9-inch screen and the ability to connect a Bluetooth keyboard to it, you can even use it to get some work done.
And now, Amazon is marking down the iPad mini, with the caveat that most models won’t ship for a few weeks. So you’ll have to be a little patient in order to save yourself some money.
The iPad mini was updated last year with Apple’s A12 Bionic processor, an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 7-megapixel front-camera (perfect for Zoom or FaceTime calls). Apple estimates a battery life of 10 hours. It also has a home button and Apple’s fingerprint tech with Touch ID. It runs iPadOS 13.4, the same OS as the rest of the iPad lineup, with trackpad support.
The 64GB Wi-Fi only iPad mini is currently $349.99, down from $399.99. The space gray version will ship at the end of April, while the silver model will ship at the end of May, and the gold variant is sold out.

Lastly, there’s a 256GB iPad mini with Wi-Fi connectivity and AppleCare+ for $568.99, which is about $50 less than the retail price at Apple for the same bundle. AppleCare+ is basically insurance for your iPad mini, covering things like accidental damage and extending the iPad mini’s factory warranty.
