With the reach of TV cameras in the Senate chamber limited to close-ups of the speaker, there’s a lot happening at the impeachment trial of President Donald Trump the public can’t see.

For instance, as House managers showed a video clip of Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham on Thursday, the senator was actually not present. But viewers would not know that.
