Twelve Democratic candidates took the stage in Westerville, Ohio, for the fourth Democratic debate. Businessman Tom Steyer made his debate debut after announcing his presidential bid in July.

South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg butted heads with Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) over President Trump’s decision to withdraw US troops from Syria.
