Walmart, CVS, Walgreens pull Zantac and similar heartburn drugs because of cancer worries

Over the counter Zantac  is used for acid reflux and heartburn and, according to FDA, may contain a carcinogen.

(CNN)Walmart, the United States' largest retailer, is the latest to announce it's suspending the sale of Zantac and other over-the-counter ranitidine medications due to concerns they might contain a substance that can cause cancer. Customers can return the products to Walmart or Sam's Club stores for a refund.

CVS Pharmacy and Walgreens also recently announced they are no longer selling the medications.
