A suspect was arrested early Thursday morning after a shooting standoff in Philadelphia left six police officers wounded.
The shooting started at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday when police tried to serve a narcotics warrant on a row house. It was followed by a standoff that lasted nearly eight hours.
All six officers who were shot have been released from area hospitals, tweeted Sgt. Eric Gripp, a spokesman for the department's public affairs office. He also said one other officer sustained injuries in a vehicle crash related to the incident.
