Hulu is now the streaming home of "Designing Women."
CNN —

Hulu has made all the arrangements for your next nostalgic binge watch.

The streaming network will soon be home to all 163 episodes of “Designing Women.”

The addition of the series to the Hulu library is a natural choice. Hulu boss Craig Erwich said the service has been successful in attracting eyeballs to beloved TV series like “ER” and “Seinfeld.”

“Designing Women” originally ran on CBS for seven seasons from 1986-1993. The show originally starred Dixie Carter, Delta Burke, Annie Potts and Jean Smart

It was praised for its blend of sharp humor and tackling of topical subjects like domestic abuse, homophobia and feminism.

In making the announcement on Friday at the Television Critics Association press tour, Erwich praised the show for being “ahead of its time.”

To that point, Hulu said the show will debut on August 26, which is Women’s Equality Day.
