Luke Perry fans will not want to miss the next episode of “Riverdale.”

The show’s creator on Wednesday revealed the episode title for Season 4 premiere: “In Memoriam.” The episode will honor the late Luke Perry, who starred in the CW show as Fred Andrews.

“Probably the most important episode of Riverdale we’ll do this year, if not ever,” tweeted Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. “A tribute to our fallen friend. Thankful for this opportunity to honor Luke and Fred.”

Perry died in March after suffering a massive stroke.

“A beloved member of the Riverdale, Warner Bros. and CW family, Luke was everything you would hope he would be: an incredibly caring, consummate professional with a giant heart, and a true friend to all,” the show’s executive producers, Warner Bros. Television and The CW said in a statement after Perry died. “A father figure and mentor to the show’s young cast, Luke was incredibly generous, and he infused the set with love and kindness.”

Perry’s final “Riverdale” appearance aired last April, a short and bittersweet end for fans. The show also chose not to address the fate of Perry’s character.

“Riverdale” returns October 9 at 8 p.m. ET on the CW.
