Cher hates people doing impressions of her
CNN  —

If you ever run into Cher, don’t start singing her hits.

The music legend appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” on Monday to promote her Broadway show, “The Cher Show,” and was asked her opinion about people impersonating her performances.

“I have never heard anybody who has ever done a good [impression of me],” Cher said. “They just make some noises and facial expressions and I just try to find myself in there but it’s just so much bulls**t.”

Something else you should know, don’t ask Cher to sing karaoke: “I get embarrassed to sing in front of strange people.”

But despite her aversion to popping into local karaoke bars, Fallon did get Cher to take the stage and mouth the words to her hit 1998 song, “Believe,” while a track of Cher fans – rather terribly – sang the lyrics.

Cher also looked and sounded fabulous when she performed her 1965 single with Sonny Bono, “I Got You Babe.” No need to turn back time, Cher has still got it!
