Sonos partners with Danish design brand to create line of stylish, colorful speakers

This new speaker collection, which is the result of a collaboration between Sonos and Danish furnishings brand HAY, came about as a way of exploring the relationship between design and sound.

These speakers, which cost $229, were definitely created with color in mind. Mette and Rolf Hay, HAY's two founders and a husband-and-wife duo, say the colors in the line were "inspired by our daily home life." The pair, who design a broad range of products like stationery, storage, tableware, and textiles for their brand, take home design very seriously. That's why they went for modern simplicity when designing this speaker. With fewer buttons on the front and a subtle logo on the back, this tasteful (yet futuristic) speaker will complement any home's aesthetic.

When it comes to sound quality, these music players pack a punch. Just like the original Sonos One, these HAY Sonos One speakers are Amazon Alexa-enabled. That way, users can start and stop their music with just their voice. Additionally, these speakers can be paired to play the same song from different rooms. And, if you'd like to keep your speaker in your bathroom or on your patio, that's no problem, thanks to a humidity resistant finish.
