With 1.1 million Instagram followers and counting, Maya Ahmad is without a doubt one of the region's biggest influencers. The Lebanese beauty and lifestyle blogger, based mostly in Dubai, regularly collaborates with brands such as MAC Cosmetics, Dior and Guerlain.

Hanadi Diab, a Lebanese blogger who lives in Germany, has launched her own beauty range with lashes and liquid lipsticks that are sold in more than 300 drug stores in Germany. She has 471,000 followers on Instagram.

Dina Al Sharif has 232,000 followers on Instagram. The Emirati influencer also has a successful YouTube channel and a showroom of her favorite products on Boutiqaat, a Kuwait-based cosmetics website that features personalized selections from influencers of their beauty must-haves. Nazan Asghar started by sharing beauty tips to friends and family on Instagram, but when she was noticed and promoted by big brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills and Huda Beauty her followers started to multiply -- she can now boast of 217,000. She has since done collaborations with Nivea skincare, Huda Beauty, Urban Decay, Kiko Milano, among others.

AlReem Saif started her career as a beauty editor for Zahrat Al Khaleej, an Arab lifestyle magazine. But with the boom in social media, the Emirati decided to try her hand at blogging.
