Twelve boys and their soccer coach were rescued from a flooded cave in northern Thailand, ending an 18-day ordeal.

The team became trapped on June 23. The boys, ages 11 to 16, were exploring the Tham Luang Nang Non cave when heavy seasonal rains flooded the entrance and forced them to go deeper inside to find high ground.

Divers found them on July 2 and were able to bring them food and medical care until rescues could be made. The last rescues were made on July 10 after a tense three-day operation.
