First lady Michelle Obama is set to appear in an upcoming episode of CBS’ “NCIS,” the network said Thursday.
Obama’s appearance on the popular drama will be part of her efforts with the “Joining Forces” initiative she launched with Jill Biden, wife of Vice President Joe Biden, in 2011.
“Joining Forces” is a White House program to build and strengthen support for military service members, veterans and military families.
CBS said that in the episode, the first lady will bring NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs, a Marine’s wife and actual military spouses to the White House for a roundtable.
The episode is set to air Tuesday, May 3 at 8 p.m. ET.
