Katy Gough, a teenager from Wales who was diagnosed with Tourette's syndrome, vlogs regularly about how she is challenged by the disorder.
This is Gough on December 10, 2013, when she was diagnosed with the disorder, which is characterized by involuntary tics that vary in intensity and frequency.
Gough, pictured here in 2014, was told on January 8 of last year that she also has Asperger's syndrome, an autism spectrum disorder. She gets quite anxious about everyday things like taking the train.
Gough credits her circle of close friends as well as her YouTube viewers with helping her deal with the disorder. Pictured are her friends from college: Emily, Ishani, Sophie and Caitlin (with Gough second from right; last names withheld) in November 2014.
Gough's positivity shines through in her vlogs. Here she is with her older sister Laura Gough on the right.
Gough celebrated 6,800 subscribers while on the beach on May 10 last year. (She is now well past 10,000 subscribers.)
