Fox's hit series "Gotham" would not work quite as well without the incredible sets (like Edward Nygma's apartment, seen here) where cops and villains scheme and battle. They help create a larger-than-life atmosphere. CNN recently visited the show's set in Brooklyn, New York.

Another angle of the cave, with Thomas Wayne's secret office.

"Gotham's" sets range from grimy to opulent, like the living room of Wayne Manor.

That suit of armor may or may not be a nod to "the dark knight," but this corner of the living room shows the art and artifacts collected by Bruce's parents.
