Anti-Trump video has kids using F bombs
Rubio also weighs in, calls parents 'disgusting'
Donald Trump is firing back at a video showing Latino children cursing at him and telling him to get out of the U.S.
“I think it’s terrible. I think it’s just terrible,” Trump said Friday morning on Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria.” “Anybody that would do an ad like that is stupid, to be honest. I mean they’re stupid people that would do an ad like that. And it has backfired.”
The video, which was played on Fox, shows Latino children, born in the U.S., blasting away at Trump – and cursing, a lot.
“Hola Donald Trump, screaming ‘Get out of my country!’ Republicans use offensive words. So here’s a few of our own,” two children, Ricardo and Rosa, say before repeatedly using the “f” word in the YouTube video posted earlier this week by Deport Racism 2016, a group opposing Trump. They speak – and curse – in both English and Spanish.
The group is also promising to pay $5,000 to anyone who disrupts Trump’s appearance on Saturday Night Live by screaming “deport racism” or “Trump is a racist” from the studio audience during Saturday night’s broadcast.
The video had more than 440,000 views as of Friday morning.
It also shows the children gathered around a Trump piñata, but an adult jumps in and says, “No, no, no, kids. Trump is full of nothing sweet, just racist bulls—.”
It wasn’t just Trump firing back Friday, however. Sen. Marco Rubio, a Cuban American, said he was outraged that parents would let their children curse in a video like that.
Asked on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends” Friday morning what he would like to say to the parents of the children, Rubio called them “disgusting.”
“You’re disgusting, I mean this is a disgusting video,” Rubio said. “What you did with children and to the parents of those children. You know, shame on them. I mean what kind of parent allows their kids to go be exposed to the world in a YouTube video using those words?”
