Donald Trump retweeted a tweet accusing CNBC moderator of lying

Trump previously threatened to boycott the CNBC debate

Washington CNN —

Donald Trump retweeted Thursday a tweet calling CNBC moderator a “dips—” and accusing him of lying about Wednesday’s debate.

The tweet was about the length of time allotted for the debate.

“@MikeandDawnNY: @seanmdav Dips— @JohnJHarwood lied debate always being set for 2 hours If not 4 @realDonaldTrump calling @cnbc out,” Trump retweeted.

Trump and Ben Carson previously threatened to boycott the debate when the network considered expanding it beyond two hours.

Trump was criticized last week for retweeting a tweet that insulted Iowa voters just hours after a poll showed him behind retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson in the state.

“@mygreenhippo #BenCarson is now leading in the #polls in #Iowa. Too much #Monsanto in the #corn creates issues in the brain?#Trump #GOP”

A few hours after the initial retweet, Trump removed it from his feed and tweeted, “the young intern who accidentally did a Retweet apologizes.”
