On the day he broke the record for most days spent in outer space by an American, Scott Kelly tweeted this photo and the caption: "Woke up to the #Himalayas outside our window this morning. #GoodMorning and #HappyFriday! #YearInSpace" Scott Kelly/NASA
Kelly is scheduled to come down to Earth on March 3, according to NASA, after spending 522 days in space. On September 17, 2015, he snapped a photo during an early morning flyover of the United States. NASA
