The police department in Bangor, Maine, posted this selfie of Officer Eddie Mercier and a dog to its Facebook account on Monday, September 21. The post said Mercier was returning the dog to the Humane Society after it had escaped. "We do not normally share photos of those that are being taken into custody. In this case, we made an exception," said the post, written tongue-in-cheek. "The look on his face is that of defiance. A true outlaw. Bandit. Scofflaw."
