Dood the dog did a "fantastic job as the ring bearer" at Cassidy Williams' wedding in early August. "It was really precious," she said. The event was bittersweet, because Dood had recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
Dood's diagnosis spurred Williams' family to bring him out to Oregon from Utah for the wedding and to see the ocean for the first time. Here, Dood enjoys the beach in Manzanita, Oregon.

Williams said "he wasn't quite sure what to do at first." But after getting used to it, Dood had the time of his life.
Williams' father (pictured) canceled his flight from Utah to Oregon to drive Dood to the wedding so he could see the beach. He drove over 13 hours.
Dood was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer in July, so Williams and her family quickly changed their plans to include the dog in her big day with fiance, Matthijs.
