(CNN)A gunman killed four people Thursday at a Naval Reserve center in Chattanooga, Tennessee, a city spokesperson said. The gunman was also killed, the spokesperson said.

There were also three people injured, including a police officer, Enora Moss said. The officer's condition was unknown.
Shootings were reported at two locations. The U.S. Navy tweeted that a shooting happened at a Navy Reserve center in Chattanooga, and witnesses said they saw a shooting outside a separate location -- a building on Lee Highway that houses military recruiting offices. The incident drew federal agencies, including the FBI and ATF, to the scene.
When news of the shooting first broke, Mayor Andy Berke tweeted, "Horrific incident in our community. We will release details as they are confirmed. Prayers to all those affected."
