A bystander outside a San Francisco gay pride weekend event was wounded early Saturday evening when a group of men got into an argument and shots were fired, police said.

A 64-year-old man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital and is in stable condition, according to San Francisco police.

Several suspects were detained by authorities.
