The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, turned himself in to police Monday afternoon, and was booked on suspicion of felony criminal threats, said Officer Mike Lopez.
The rapper posted a $50,000 bail and was released.
Officials didn't say why there was a months-long lag between the incident and the arrest.
